Flutters overhead meet the burst of my camera’s shutter. An unexpected wedge of Egyptian geese gives me all but a moment to capture the shot.
I wasn’t sure I got it, and because I wanted to conserve battery for the rest of the day, I didn’t look. It wasn’t until I downloaded the images onto my computer later in the week that I saw the result. I can’t express my delight in finding what has become one of my favorite images I’ve ever taken.
